When you download the Windows client, Windows SmartScreen or your browser may show a warning such as “Windows protected your PC” or “unknown publisher”. This happens with almost every new indie game.
It does not mean the file is dangerous. It only means we haven’t bought a code-signing certificate yet — those cost several hundred euros every year, and as a small early-access studio we’ll add it as Coldstar grows.
To install anyway: click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
